Annual UMA Doctors' Day "On the Hill"

Each year, UMA member physicians, fellows, residents, medical students and physician member spouses are invited to the Utah State Capitol for an in-person "Day on the Hill" hosted by the UMA to be a part of the political process, to get an overview of health care bills that are being run in the state legislature. It's a unique opportunity to speak with elected members, State Senators and Representatives about bills impacting medicine, public health, physicians, and their patients in Utah. Whether you are a seasoned pro or new to the law-making process, the focus and mission is "Better Health, Better Lives for Utahns." UMA helps educate physicians and provides a crash course on the legislative process at this exclusive event, which is a UMA Member benefit.
